Keloïs Platform (Glossary)
A ldap server allows to store at a unique place all the information of users avoiding to re-enter several times same information on every desktop. This functionality is classically used by external applications like mail, instant messenger, etc. Windows directory services is known as Active Directory
Files sharing server allows a collaborative usage of data of enterprise, with the respect of credential aspects. For example, a "simple" employee will not be able to access files managed by legal or financial team.
The mail server by Keloïs is an hybrid mode built upon a mail access provider to only use the "most interesting part" delivered by the mail provider. This allows to manager huge mailboxes with an immediate access as emails are stored within the enterprise. This allows quick backup/restoration of emails through inadvertence deleted. A webmail access is provided for users, with anti-virus and global/personalized anti-spams. Imap protocol is used for an easy synchronized access for mobile phones.
A VPN server allows any dekstop located outside the enterprise to be connected within the enterprise in a secured manner. With that feature, any data of the enterprise could be accessed without being physically inside the enterprise.
The most important aspect of your IT stuff are defintely your data. Aware of this postulate, Keloïs created a powerful daily backup process protecting all your data and even your Operating System. A "Disaster Recovery" process exists, allowing quick restart of your IT in case of major issues.
Kfinder, it's the "Google" of your enterprise. You could find with a few clicks whatever you look for in your emails, documents just by filling textual keywords. Returned emails or documents are done with respect of confidentiality (more informations ...).
Because it's easier to interrupt a person with written words rather than phone, Keloïs platform integrates an instant messenger service – like yahoo messenger or msn – but local to the enterprise. Every user has a pre-created account and can rapidly add new contacts to chat with them.
Because today, it's fundamental to be able to exchange files with customers and/or providers, Keloïs platform integrates a private cloud server allowing you easy file transfer to anyone authenticated. Just give a secured hyperlink to your correspondent allowing him to retrieve or to drop off documents from a web navigator.
Calendars and Contacts Server :
Because in a collaborative world, it is important to manage his own time for you, but also for your team. Keloïs integrates a solution of calendars and contacts sharing, with a native synchronisation for Iphones and thanks to plugins for other phones.
Because you want to evolve in the "no paper" world and display your legal notices inside your enterprise on a digital screen ? Keloïs platform integrates a digital signage module to display on a screen pdf, powerpoint, video documents and more.
